This Week's Highlights

  • Google’s breakup with Bard: It was Valentine’s week and guess who got dumped? It was Google Bard. Google decided to dump Bard and get together with Gemini. With Gemini, you can do much more stuff than Bard such as advanced coding, complex problem-solving, and much more.
  • The Mobile App: Google took a step further by providing a mobile app for Gemini. It will not only allow you to chat with the AI but it will automatically replace Google Assistant.
  • Featured AI Tools: Is it just a launch? Do you want to know about the tool from today itself? Don’t worry, we won’t disappoint you. Google’s Gemini also launched a mobile app. You can replace Google Assistant with Gemini.

Let’s understand it in-depth to know more about the news.

Google decided to stop using Bard and start using something called Gemini right around Valentine’s Day. Think of it like swapping an old video game for a newer, cooler one. Gemini can do lots of fancy things like solving tricky problems and helping with coding, as the language computers understand.

They didn’t stop there. Google also made a special app for Gemini, so you can use it on your phone just like you would use Google Assistant. That means you can ask Gemini to do things for you, and it’s supposed to be smart.

By choosing Gemini over Bard, Google is trying to make sure we all have the latest and greatest AI, which stands for artificial intelligence. It’s like having a super-smart robot buddy in your pocket. This new app lets you chat with Gemini instead of Google Assistant, showing that Google wants to make sure we’re using the best tech they have.

But here’s the thing to think about as these AI tools get smarter and do more stuff for us, it changes how we use technology. It’s kind of exciting but also a bit weird to think about talking to a robot as if it’s a friend. We have to wonder, will we start asking these AIs to make decisions for us? And what does that mean for our privacy or how we think for ourselves?

So, Google swapping Bard for Gemini is a big deal. It’s not just about getting a new tech toy; it’s about how this new AI could change how we live, learn, and play. It’s pretty cool to see where this could go, but it also makes you think about what it means for the future.

What’s the buzz about?

Right now, there’s a big talk going on about Google Gemini and Microsoft Bing

People are trying to figure out which one is better. Google Gemini is all about using AI to make searching on the internet easier and more personal. On the other hand, Microsoft Bing has already added GPT4 in their search allowing users to use the AI to get quick results.

But there’s another interesting point in this debate: some people are thinking about switching their usual digital helpers for Google Gemini. The thing with Gemini is that once you decide to use it, it becomes the main way you can use the Assistant.

You guessed it right, they are replacing Google Assistant with Google Gemini as soon as you install the app.

Choosing to switch to Gemini means you’re not just picking a new search engine; you’re changing how you use your phone or computer to look things up and get things done. This choice depends on what you like, what you need from your search engine, and how you use technology in your daily life.

Everyone’s talking about whether Google Gemini or Microsoft Bing is the way to go, or if they should make Gemini their new go-to helper. But really, there’s no single answer that fits everyone. Both options have their perks, and it comes down to what works best for you. What’s clear is that these new tools are changing the game, making us think differently about how we interact with the internet and our gadgets.
