What is Shipflow?
Shipflow is an enterprise AI automation platform for logistics companies, including freight forwarders, 3PLs, carriers and transportation networks. Its AI Operators execute and monitor operational and customer workflows across ocean, air, road, rail and intermodal operations, working through existing systems and following company SOPs. Teams define what operators may access and do, set approval boundaries, and specify when a person must review or take over.
Shipflow Features:
SOP-Guided Execution: Operators use logistics context and a company’s standard operating procedures to carry out repetitive tasks, with workflows configurable for different requirements.
Human Review: Teams set permissions, approval rules and escalation paths, so cases needing judgment can be routed to the right person with shipment context.
Booking and Documents: Operators read booking emails and forms, extract and validate shipment details, process logistics documents and enter approved information into a TMS.
Quotes and Tenders: The platform handles quote inquiries using company rate data, prepares tender responses, compares carrier bids and manages approved rates.
Shipment Visibility: Configurable checks cover shipment milestones from pre-pickup through delivery, syncing confirmed updates to a TMS and escalating exceptions.
Invoices and Exceptions: Operators match carrier and vendor charges against shipment records, post eligible invoices, and route discrepancies or shipment issues for review.
Shipflow Benefits:
More Team Capacity: Automating recurring operational steps leaves staff with more time for work that requires their judgment and attention.
Consistent Processes: Following defined SOPs helps teams handle routine work consistently across different workflows and operating requirements.
Clearer Handovers: Escalations that include shipment context give the next person relevant information to assess the issue and decide what to do.
Keep Existing Systems: Connecting to current tools lets logistics teams add automated execution without replacing the systems already central to operations.
Controlled Automation: Configurable permissions and human checkpoints let teams set boundaries around which actions run automatically and which need approval.
Use Cases:
Customer Quote Requests: Respond to incoming rate inquiries by calculating prices from company data and sending customers current quotation details.
Booking Intake: Turn shipment details in booking emails or forms into validated bookings in a transportation management system.
Document Cross-Checks: Compare related shipment files, such as master and house bills of lading, and enter approved data into the TMS.
Milestone Monitoring: Check shipments before pickup, in transit and at delivery, then update confirmed milestones and flag exceptions.
Carrier Invoice Review: Match invoice charges to shipment records and expected costs, posting eligible invoices while sending discrepancies for review.
