What is AgentDock?
AgentDock currently offers Dock, an AI writing tool for individuals who draft, revise, and organize documents. It combines an editor with browser access, AI writing actions, and citation tools for work ranging from research papers to business proposals. The individual plans are available as a free option and a paid Unlimited plan; organization plans for the customer engagement platform are not available yet.
AgentDock Features:
AI Writing Actions: Use AI in the editor to summarize, expand, and rewrite text, with a daily action limit on the Free plan and no daily limit on Unlimited.
Browser Extension: Add the Chrome extension to use Dock wherever you type in your browser.
Citation Formatting: Create citations and bibliographies in more than 10,000 styles, including APA and Vancouver, with unlimited citations on the Unlimited plan.
Track Changes: Review AI suggestions through track changes, so edits remain visible while you work through a draft.
Document Storage: Write and store unlimited documents in the editor on either plan.
Prompt Library: Browse a library of thousands of prompts for help getting started with different writing tasks.
AgentDock Benefits:
Faster Drafting: Summarizing, expanding, and rewriting in the same editor can shorten the time spent moving between rough notes and a usable draft.
Easier Review: Visible changes make it easier to assess AI-edited passages and decide what belongs in the final document.
More Consistent Citations: Formatting references in a selected style helps keep citations and bibliographies consistent across a document.
Writing Flexibility: Unlimited document storage lets users keep ongoing and completed work together without needing to clear out older drafts.
Lower Barrier to Start: A free plan and ready-to-use prompts make it possible to try the editor without a subscription or a blank-page starting point.
Use Cases:
Research Paper Drafts: Draft or revise academic work, format references in a required style, and review suggested edits before sharing it with an advisor.
Business Proposals: Turn project scope, timelines, and budget details into a proposal that is easier to review and circulate.
Resume Revisions: Shape experience into a role-matched summary, then refine the wording and length for a particular job application.
Meeting Follow-Ups: Summarize decisions and assign actions after a meeting to prepare a written update for the people involved.
Newsletters and Updates: Condense source material into a short update, keep the introduction in your voice, and prepare a draft for review.
